Yes, it is possible.

I would spend the time to look under the ppp authentication options for chap
and test out the different options, and watch them as you debug them. That
way you know exactly what is going on. And you can test to make sure what
is happening is actually happening.

With CHAP authentication, it's possible that a host challenge the remote
host only when a callin occurs (callin option).
How is it possible to disable it in both direction ?

It's possible to do it with CHAP or do I have to use PAP ??
