I would request a rescheduling if I were you. My lab was scheduled for last
Thursday but was cancelled due the power failure. Two other candidates were
at the door at 7:30AM along with me in the midst of the ice-storm but nobody
from Cisco showed up. At around 8:00AM one of the CCIE program people came
by and told us that the lab was cancelled and that we would be accommodated
on Friday. Apparently Cisco has generators for some of the other buildings
in the campus but not the lab building. I was at the door at 7:30AM on
Friday but the building was still dark. I decided to stay back to make an
attempt on Saturday. Late Friday, I got a phone call from one of the CCIE
program administrators saying the power may not be back till Monday or
Tuesday. That is when I decided to give up and return home to New Jersey. I
have asked Cisco to reschedule me for another time. The RTP area was hit
pretty bad by all the falling pine trees. I was told that the power
companies were focusing on getting power back to the homes before the
commercial establishments.

Not to be an alarmist, but I emailed Cisco yesterday to see if the recent
storms affected the lab. The reply today is that the RTP lab is closed
because it has no power. News stories online say most power is to be
restored by Sunday, but not all until Monday or Tuesday. My test is
Tuesday. My flight is Monday. Ugh!
