Hello
I have one router running rip and ospf and I'would like to redistribute rip
into ospf but as summary to 0.0.0.0.
Of course I have several rip routes into the routing table.
Config used is:
router ospf 1
summary-address 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0
redistribute rip metric 40 subnets
network 133.1.14.1 0.0.0.0 area 0
default-information originate
debug ip ospf adj show how the router generates a LSA for route 0.0.0.0/0:
.Dec 5 18:42:13.338: OSPF: Generate external LSA 0.0.0.0, mask 0.0.0.0,
type 5,
age 0, metric 40, tag 0, metric-type 2, seq 0x80000001
about 5 seconds later, another with infinity metric to remove it from the
database:
.Dec 5 18:42:19.318: OSPF: Generate external LSA 0.0.0.0, mask 0.0.0.0,
type 5,
age 3600, metric 16777215, tag 1, metric-type 2, seq 0x80000002
Routing table show default route as ospf intra-area:
O* 0.0.0.0/0 is a summary, 00:01:20, Null0
And there is not a entry for 0.0.0.0/0 in the ospf database

I suppose that there is a conflict between summary and default-originate
process, because summary is generating a 0.0.0.0/0 route as intra-area type
and default-originate is expecting a non ospf route. Anyone can confirm this
?
Any idea to get this type of redistribution/summary ?
