Hans,

I think the router is receiving the BSR candidate RP advertisement from an non RPF path. so
naturally it will drop it.

Donny

Anyone knows what this menas??

I am trying to get BSR to work with Multicast. And here are the "show ip mroute" on
the routers. All routers are configured with "ip pim sparse-dense-mode". And RTB &
RTC are both the C-RPs & C-BSRs.

At RTB:

interface Loopback0
 ip address 10.224.1.2 255.255.255.255

ip pim bsr-candidate Loopback0 30
ip pim rp-candidate Loopback0

And at RTC:

interface Loopback0
 ip address 10.224.1.3 255.255.255.255

ip pim bsr-candidate Loopback0 30
ip pim rp-candidate Loopback0

I have also tried "sparse-mode", same error messages though =(

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
