NSSA default route

Hi All,

 R3 ---- area 0 ---- R5 ---- NSSA area 1 ---- R8

I am having trouble getting the default route in an NSSA area to be of type
N1.

I have the following command on R5:

area 1 nssa default-information-originate metric 1555 metric-type 1

and it shows up in the routing table of the other NSSA router 8 as:

O*N2 0.0.0.0/0 [110/1555] via 10.1.5.5, 00:02:38, Serial0/1

Any ideas why this won't be N1??
