Either you log your logging messages to a syslog server or to the buffer. To
log your logging message to the buffer use the global configuration command
logging buffer and use show logging to see this messages. To log them to a
syslog server use logging host x.y.w.z. Where x.y.w.z is the ip address of
the syslog server (usually a Unix server) It is a good idea to time stamp
your logged message so they are meaningful. Use the global configuration
command service timestamp log date ms. Please refer to the CCO for more
details.
