I tried Mask but it was not working like

network 155.100.122.0 0.0.0.0 area 20
area 20 range 155.100.122.0 255.255.255.0

only way I was able to work is

network 155.100.122.0 0.0.0.255 area 20

any ideas

Looks like a problem with the mask this would only run on an interface with
an address of 15.100.122.0.
Try using the range command with the mask you have in the second example.
