Hi,
The lab has R1 and R5 with one ISDN interface each router.
OSPF is configured at ISDN link as a part of the OSPF backbone
Only R5 places a call, it is place only when R5 detects a topology change
in OSPF and if traffic is destined for opposite router.
I understand that the ospf circuit must be configured as demand circuit at
R5.
But, the solution (I downloaded it from Ciscopress site) indicate the
following at R1
dialer-list 1 protocol ip list 101
and
access-list 101 deny eigrp any any
access-list 101 deny ospf any any
access-list 101 permit ip any any
I don't understand the deny ospf line? Is it necessary? why? (i have ip
ospf demand-circuit)
Thanks a lot.
Graciela.
