Newer IOS allows placing of wild card mask with network statement.
10.1.1.0 0.0.0.3 = 10.1.1.0 255.255.255.252 = 10.1.1.0/30
172.16.1.0 0.0.0.255 = 172.16.1.0 255.255.255.0 = 172.16.1.0/24
