if you want to study it, then study it, if you don't
want to study it, then don't study it.

Bottom line, if it is in IOS, then it is testable,
with the exception of what is listed on the cisco site
as removed topics.

What you are stating that it should be on security, is
the same as saying on the security test there will be
no routing protocols.

Learn as much as you can handle, if you pass then
great, if you don't pass then you have learn more.
Either way, this is a process of learning, not just
passing a test. The test is getting harder and harder,
learn as much as you can, not the minimum. If not the
ccie cert will truly indeed be worthless.
