ANSWER - Re: DDR ATTN Brian Dennis (used your exact configs,

Hi Y'all

I found out what the problem was.

It has to do with the modem command under line x (tty/aux port )(ie line
65). I had modem inout set on both sides, it says to use this to configure
the modem for in and out usage). Well it doesn't work with rollover back to
back aux configuration.
I tested a couple of combinations and this is what I found:
host --> inout works
inout --> host does not work
host --> dialin works
dialin --> host does not work
host --> host does not work
dialin --> dialin does not work
inout --> inout does not work

I will try these out with my external modems and my teltone line simulator
to see if I get comparable results.

Thanks to those of you who responded.
