I've searched all over but cannot find a concrete yes or no on this one.

Which situation is correct

My CCIE expires on the 1st Jan 2003
I recertify on the 1st Jan 2002

My CCIE is now valid until

A.
1st Jan 2004

B.
1st Jan 2005
