Was true about 9 years ago :) May have been true for a short time
when the ability to apply access-lists inbound was first supported also
but that was even some time ago. Mst new features are initially process
switched but are upgraded to shortly afterwards. Initially NAT and
policy routing were process switched but are now fast switched.
