Good idea. So far I have tried only a straight-through DB9-DB25 serial. I'll
dig up a null modem cable and give it a shot.

    Not sure about the hub features, but what kind of cable did you try to
connect to it with? A lot of 3Coms use a null modem cable, not a rollover
cable like Cisco's use. Maybe you're just using the wrong cable. Laplink
cables work also.
