OT: HP Ethertwist Plus info?

I recently acquired a used 19" rack for my lab gear and mounted in it was an
HP Ethertwist Plus hub, model 28699a. I have searched the HP website for a
manual or other info about it and all I can find is a firmware update, a mib
file and that it is a "managed hub". There is an RS232 console port, but it
doesn't respond to my terminal program. Anyone know where I might find some
info about this box?
