Hello all
Why sometimes area range and summary address do not produce the desired
summary address? Last night I had an ABR (between area 0 and area 1) with a
bunch of consecutive connected loopbacks. I issued the area range command to
summarize these connected loopbacks, but no summary to the null or a summary
address was produced. The same thing happened to me with ASBR and the
summary address command. The solution of Ipexpert (scenario 25) is identical
to my solution, but I am not able to propagate the summary in the OSPF
domain.
