Folks,
I am having a problem with dlsw backup peers. All routers are running
12.1(16) The following is relevant router config. R4 is the backup peer for
R2, ip connectivity is fine. The problem is R5 always peer with both R4 and
R2, I thought as a backup peer R4 should only peer with R5 when R2 is down.
Am I missing anything?
Thanks in advance.
R5:
dlsw local peer 135.1.5.5
dlsw remote 0 tcp 135.1.2.2
dlsw remote 0 tcp 135.1.4.4 backup 135.1.2.2 linger 7
dlsw bridge 10
R2:
dlsw local peer 135.1.2.2
dlsw remote 0 tcp 135.1.5.5
dlsw bridge 10
R4:
dlsw local peer 135.1.4.4
dlsw remote 0 tcp 135.1.5.5
dlsw bridge 10
Frank
