Well done Bruce. Seeing ppl like you pass does give me hope.
Hopefully, I will be able to join your ranks after my 3rd attempt in Feb'03.

I passed the lab yesterday in RTP. It was my second attempt. I passed the
written in Jan 2001, but I did not start preparing for my lab until the
beginning of this year. At first, I was not even going to attempt the lab,
but then I figured out that the people that were passing the CCIE Lab were
just regular people like me who worked hard. So I decided that I could do it
too. On my first attempt, I was nervous and I some mistakes that I would not
have made otherwise. On my second attempt, I was still nervous, but the
difference was that I knew I could do it. I knew I had enough knowledge to
pass. I worked quickly, but not at the crazy pace I did on my first lab. I
worked slower and I still had some time to check my work. I had about one
hour to check over my exam and I found one or two mistakes. That might have
been the difference between passing and failing.
