Hi all,
I like to start this thread: I think the Key to sucess in CCIE lab is be
ready to do unexpected stuff quick. I think if we get redistribution down
quick and without the guess this will give us a good start.
I will make a matrix of this once we have all the answers:
Say I have 2 routes (connected): 60.60.0.0 /24 and 60.60.1.0 /24 I like to
redistribute it into another protocol as a /8 (classfull) or /16 (summary) or
/24 (as connected) route. Once we have redistribution down we can work on how
to filer whole thing or how to avoide filtering whole thing. Filter based on
summary and filter as connected.
What should I look for as I redistribute this Into:
BGP:
router OSPF 1: ("redistribute connected" to get it in as /8 route)
("redistribute connected subnets" to get it in as /24 route) (anyway to get it
in as a /16 route-map?)
EIGRP:
RIP 1:
RIP 2:
I think this is all in CCIE EXAM: But if all of put our 1c in we all can
understand this once for all?
Thanks,
Masood
