Insert a large flat head screwdriver towards the front of the lid, it works
wonderfully at popping the case apart.

        1) Have you guys ever seen a 2600 series router without a
damaged plastic front
                cover? Who designed this crap anyways?

        2) Anyone ever strain themselves trying to open a 2500/2600
router? Seems like the ones which have been sitting around for awhile
require a lot of index finger strength to open.
