Hello Eric,

because the nature lies in a programming failure together
with fast switching mode, three possible things can be done
in my opinion:

1) Do a show tech-support and send it with the error message
   to Cisco. May be the best for a production router

2) Use another switching method, if possible, as a short term
    solution.

3) Change to another IOS, where this failure may not exist.
