Hi AA,

The "len" field is the actual length of the packet or datagram. If you do a
debug ip packet detail and then do an extended ping you will see that the
default datagram size is 100, which will be the same in the debug outputs.
If you change the datagram size in the extended ping, the "len" field will
change to the corresponding value.
