Subject: Which is better OSPF or EIGRP?
Bradford,
It is "never" a question of which is better, it is a question
of which is the best fit for my network.
One of the largest enteprise networks I have seen, had
over 40,000+ desktops and is running EIGRP. The network
is smooth and there is little hassle.
If EIGRP is fine, why migrate to OSPF? Areas, flooding
and dijkstra recomputation will add overhead, complexity
in troubleshooting for operational level staff will increase.
Your job is to find the reason. Maybe his friend said use
OSPF because it is cool - but is that a valid driver?
Dig deeper Bradford, there might be a valid reason.
rgds,
Dinesh

Subject: RE: Split Horizon??
Dear,
I just want to know which protocol is better? OSPF or EIGRP.
Because my client want to change from OSPF to EIGRP without any reason.
And May I have your suggestion?
