With HyperTerm you go to FILE > PROPERTIES > SETTINGS > ASCII SETUP and set
the Line Delay to 1500 ms or 2000 ms depending on your topology.
That inserts a delay between each command line to allow each ping to
complete before going to the next.
NOTE: In the Lab, you may prefer not to use HyperTerm, but to use whatever
windowing software they have; some labs have Reflections. At home, I've
switched to CRT (www.vandyke.com) and others like SecureCRT. You need to
add a card to your computer to give you 8-16 COM ports.
To set the line delay on CRT, go to OPTIONS > GLOBAL OPTIONS > OPTIONS >
ADVANCED and set the Line Send Delay to 1500 ms or 2000 ms.
