chenyan,

"broadcast" keyword is important to use when you want
to pass routing updates across the ISDN connection.
Routing protocols use broadcast packets to advertise
their routes. It is the same as in frame-relay map
statements. I always use the "broadcast" keyword in
ISDN and frame relay map statements no matter what
protocol I use ....until someone will give me a good
reason not to.
