Just a piece of advice when looking for a 3550.
I bought recently 4 Catalysts 3550 and discovered that the auctions on
Ebay were overpriced ($2300 or more for a SMI, give me a break!).
A quick phone call to a Cisco reseller and you may discover that the
Cisco price is competitive.
I won't enumerate the advantages of dealing directly with Cisco.
