Please give me a sanity check on this. A colleague (boss actually) says that
our routers should receive CIR information from the frame switch. I think
that is possible only if the LMI type is Cisco, and then only if the switch
is configured to provide it. In our case we are using ANSI LMI, which does
not have an IE for bandwidth (I think). I base this on the debug frame LMI
documentation plus I think I read it somewhere. I can't find the standard,
though, so I could be wrong. Can anyone confirm or deny? As an aside, didn't
the Frame Relay Forum used to have more stuff for free on their site, like
the ATM Forum does? TIA.
