Chenyan,
Let say there is a router with three interfaces and all having the same major class B network but different subnets.
say e0 : 150.10.1.x/24 , e1:150.10.2.x /24 and e3 150.10.3.x/24 and u are supposed to have EIGRP only on e0 and e1. If u configure EIGRP without mask it will run on all interfaces. If u configure it with mask then u can add only 1 and 2 under EIGRP process.
There can be better examples but i have tried to keep it simple with /24 masks.Hope that helps.
Good luck,
Annu.

We all know that the network command which is specified as main network in eigrp, but it may be used as a more specific than the main network, so it can be used with the wild mask.
My problem is when it use, and any differences between the it and the normal.
Thanks
