Hi,
I ran into this issue today and thought share this with everyone (if there was
already a post regarding this....then my bad). I configured ppp callback
request on the spoke and the hub was configured as ppp callback accept and the
rest of the configuration specific to ppp callback. I tried pinging from the
spoke and it called the hub and the call got disconnected waiting for the hub
to call back. For some reason it won't call back. I double checked all my
config and it was correctly setup.
I also had IPX configured on the bri interfaces for both routers from my prior
lab and decided to remove this...and bam..it worked.
So, in my preliminary conclusion, I think ppp callback request don't work if
you have IPX configured on the bri interfaces as well. Has anyone ran into
this and found a way to make it work with both ip/ipx on bri ?
Am using ios 12.1.T5.9
