The answer is, of course, "Blue"
No one can answer this question w/o doing a study. It could be as simple the boss prefers EIGRP, or the lead engineer needs to address the gaps in his resume.
EIGRP is *NOT* easier to setup. It's just that it is more tolerant of faulty designs. As the saying goes, "Defaults are the guardian angels for the clueless"
OSPF requires more thought when designing larger networks, but for small to medium networks (less than several hundred routers), it probably will not matter either way.
