Richard Davidson wrote:My question is based on the BGP command and configuration handbook, page 46's MED example. Router B is the router in question. I can't figure out why my router is choosing the 10.1.1.2 as the best path to network 193.16.1.0. Every thing is the same and the med should not be compared, because im not comparing it from different ASs. The best route should be the lowest IP address value for the BGP router ID. Any idea why 10.1.1.2 was selected as best route?
