CCIE Lab official answer is 12.1, they told me they will not reveal sub
revision. They also told me the best version to run would be the enterprise
with IPSec to make sure all IOS functionality is present.

I have decided upon 12.1(17) ENTERPRISE PLUS IPSEC 3DES for all of my
routers.

Other thoughts?
