From http://cco.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/software/ios121/121cgcr/multi_c/mcprt1/mcdvoip.htm,
"When the timer (T) character is included at the end of the destination pattern, the system collects dialed digits as they are entereduntil the interdigit timer expires (10 seconds, by default)or the user dials the termination of end-of-dialing key (default is #). Note: The timer character must be a capital T."

Subject: T letter and VOIP/POTS dialer-peer patterns
Hi;
I want to ask about letter T, what is the exact meanning of it?? Can I used
it for a subsitution of any dial patter? For example if I want to
dial any number, can I say .T is the right substitution?? Then what is
the difference between using T and using 'translation-rule' and its
related command ??
Thanks for help;
Ayman
