have you tried a different IOS software ? or copy this IOS to another router to verify. If this
software works on other router, than you can easily conclude it's the IOS. If not, most probably the
router flash is corrupted or there is an interuption during the IOS upload phase.

Hai group ,
            Cisco 2501 is giving me the following error message when do an
ios upgrade
