I think Chris meant things like: 'Is my ping working without be breaking
any of the guidelines of the question?' , 'are my routes in the routing
table CORRECTLY with the correct cost, mask, etc?'
There is a lot more to it than being able to ping every interface.
Understanding the nuance of the tasks are critical to success n the lab.

since you mentioned it. I post a question a few days earlier for this to
check during the exam on
how to validate your solutions to no answer but from one guy. I supposed
this list needs the
knowledge to know not only the "how to configure" but also to check if
the configuration is correct.
So nobody can walk out of the room thinking "I did well". What are the
thing you need to check other
pinging from all connected IP to all non connected IP on every router
(including the backbone) and
all the route in the backbone if you now the host to know whether your
configuration is right. (of
course within the restriction and traffic policing that the lab asked
you to do).
Care to share with us ?

This study group is supposed to help everyone by sharing our experience

support. Let's keep it that way.
Kpalmer -- I agreed with David. You need to look at what area(s) you
need to
improve on. Make sure that you have everything nailed down. I have seen
many
people think they have successfully configured the scenarios as long as
they
can ping. I have seen many, including myself, walking out of lab and
thinking "I did well". Only one or two days later find otherwise. You
need
to look at things such as routing table, route costs... Does your ISDN
line
come down after a pre-defined idle time? Have you had a list of "things
to
know"?
How about pumping up your spirit and asking yourself and this group
questions like "what do I need to do to improve?". I will be more than
happy
to share with you my list of "things to know". Let me know!
