My turn to write a happy letter per the subject. Thanks to Paul for
creating and maintaining this list and to all the network gurus that
continue to take the time to answer questions here.
A bit of advice that I read several times here was instrumental in my
passing. I left enough time to go back with a fine-toothed comb over my
configs alone, and then reading each point in the booklet and verifying
whether it worked. I would say this netted me at least 10 points in
careless configs and missed points. Also, when I had things that didn't
work that nothing else depended on, I set a time limit on them and moved on
if I couldn't get them fixed and made a BIG note to come back to it. This
keeps your spirits up, your mind fresh and keeps you from throwing away easy
points later on in the lab because you didn't leave enough time to read the
requirement properly. This is all standard test-taking strategy but I found
it *really* helped me.
So now for a couple days of relaxation and then on to the JNCIS:)
Best regards,
Geoff Zinderdine
