I personally think this book has one of the best BGP labs out there. It
requires quite a few routers, but the material covers BGP pretty well.
If you understand all of the concepts in this lab you are well on your
way to understanding BGP.

It has a decent OSPF lab with a minor summarization error in the
solution. The authors implement a solution to a problem that doesn't
work with the version of IOS currently in the lab.

I think it is definitely worth the money. The authors describe how they
arrived at the solutions requirement by requirement. This is where the
real value is to understanding some of the gotchas.

I think if the BootCamp labs had this type of descripive solution for
their lab they would be worth the $650 price tag if not more.

This book would be a great starting place if you have access to the
gear.

Subject: McGraw Hill's CCIE Lab Practice Kit: Any Thoughts?

Can anyone provide feedback on the McGraw Hill "CCIE Lab Practice Kit"?
I
am thinking about getting it and would appreciate any first hand
experiences
that people have had with it. Was it helpful? Waste of time?
