You don't say whether it's two way authentication or one way.

Make sure that the digest part is the same on both routers,
You do this my making sure that the Global Username/passwords match...

eg. If you have RouterA and RouterB; RouterA is calling RouterB and RouterB
wants RouterA (the caller) to authenticate:
have the following on BOTH routers:
!
username RouterA password 0 mypassword
!

If two way authentication then:
username RouterA password 0 mypassword
username RouterB password 0 mypassword

When setting the hostname and password under the BRI interface (PPP CHAP
Hostname & PPP CHAP Password) it does not authenticate to the neighbor
router. I am placing the username and password on the remote router to the
hostname and password correctly but it will not accept the new password.
Does anybody have any suggustions ??
