You are correct, Dong. dialer-group is used for interesting traffic.
Only interesting traffic can bring up the line and keep the line up.
Once the line is up, all traffic can go thru. However, if no
interesting trffice going thru, in you case, no ping packets in 120
seconds, even though there are other traffice passing thru, the line
will be brought down.

And don't forget, either side of the isdn link can bring down the link.
