I believe this problem is resovled with with proper version of IOS, but I'm
still searching for which version that is.
Regardless....... my summary from Solie's extensive (long-winded?)
explanation:
IPX should only be integrated with DLSw using extensive planning beforehand
because Cisco routers will bridge IPX traffic by default. So, DLSw will
pass these packets over DLSw unless you enable IPX routing on the router.
If you do not configure your DLSw network correctly, even your IP only
routers will be receiving that IPX traffic via DLSw which would have a
drastic affect on your serial links.
The best way to resolve this issue is by filtering IPX SAP or running the
correct version of IOS code.
