Poorly designed in the that IP or IPX addresses aren't summarizable or even
yours to use (not private, owned by someone else), or it's a layer 2 mess,
with the core being a used 3Com hub with 3 bad ports and coffee stains? Or
you're bridging token ring and ethernet subnets together with a PC? More
details...

Just wanted to get a feel on how everyone does this. What is the best way
to add a new segment to a network that is poorely designed?
This segment must also be behind a firewall because it's a dev segment.
