Except for on ATM interfaces that don't support (i.e. 3640 12.0(7)T) it
in any but the newest code.

Elaborate on your frame-relay scenario. I've seen the problem you refer
to in many instances.

Kevin,

        CDP will run on any media that supports a SNAP header. CDP is
globally enabled by default. To enable/disable it use the global command
'[no] cdp run'. To enable/disable it on an interface, use the interface
command '[no] cdp enable'
