Routes or LSAs ?
I suppose you meant LSA as it is a link state protocol.
Possible reason is you have some sort of discrepancy on your LSA database. which could be cause by
lots of things. I can remember a few, like unfiltered distribution from Classfull IGP and a mismatch
type on inteface, mismatch majornet/subnet, unnumbered and numbered etc etc
