You need to reset your BGP connection between the 2 routers.

clear ip bgp *

Subject: timer bgp command

Hi, Group:

I use " timers bgp 300 1200" to change the hello
interval and holddown.

When I use " debug bgp keepalive" to check the update.
I still see the hello every 60 s instead of 300s.

I usethe command in both routers.

Then I try "neighbor X.X.X.X timers " in both routers.
I get the same result.

What is wrong with my configuration?
