RPR+ takes between 30 and 60 seconds which is much better than the 2 to 3
minutes for the normal redundancy mode.
But this is still far too long compared to the 2 to 3 seconds for the CatOS
supervisors and 5 to 15 seconds for HSRP on the MSFCs.
This is the biggest drawback of using native IOS on the 6000 series and one
that Cisco needs to sort out if they want customers to move towards IOS.
