You can pass any RE-cert exam to satisfy the recert requirement, it doesn't
have to be the same CCIE track. So if you're an R&S CCIE, you could use
the security recert exam and that would satisfy the requireent.

In the case of R&S, both the qualification and recert are the same. Exam
350-001 is the test used for both. Optical and Cable also have the same
written test for qualification as for recertification.

Security, however, uses exam 350-018 for written qualification and exam
350-009 for recert. So, following Cisco's website, it would appear that
passing 350-018 would not count as a RE-cert for any CCIE track. That's
my reading of it, check with Cisco to be certain.
