Hi Nass,
What was the version of IOS that you encountered a bug with ?
I know they were 2600s, but it could still be the same thing.
Cheers,
John.

Subject: swiss isdn ?!
Hello.
Switz 2500-----------ISDN----------England 2500
Perhaps not the most complicated setup you guys have seen, There is a frame
relay circuit between Switz and England and the ISDN is a backup.
my question is this...
the ISDN circuit works fine if I ping the BRI of England from the Swiss
router. HOWEVER when the call has terminated LAYER 1 is deactivated !
This puzzles me - i always thought layers 1 and 2 had to be up - regardless
of whether traffic is passing through the isdn circuit.
Switch type is set to basic-net 3 ? Had I got the switch type wrong surely
the circuit would not work at all.
The issue is that the England router cannot activate the circuit (dialer
maps correctly configured)
Both boxes run 12.0
any help appreciated.
