You can do and it will probably benefit you to the labs this way as TR will
not be around when you take the test. Remember to configure your bridge
groups for DLSw and Ethernet and also specify the spanning tree protocol
under the bridge x protocol xxxx command.
That should do you, if you want to test it, get 2 windoze boxes on each
Ethernet and try to browse one computer name from the other, this will
generate some netbios name requests and responses etc and subsequently
(providing you have everything right) will create a circuit.

A few questions.I have the Solie book and a few of the bootcamp labs. I
plan on taking the R&S lab sometime next year so the token ring portion,
IPX, Etc. will be removed. However, I have all of these labs with token
ring interface in them and only have 2501's (no TR). For the DLSW+
labs, can I just substitute the token ring interfaces with Ethernet and
still do the labs?
