OT: Possibility of getting the same exam you got before

Hi;
   I was just wondering about if Cisco keeps tracl of the exams you have
failed before so that you never get the same exam again. For example, I
failed twice, so is it possible that in third attempt I could get one of the
exams I got before? Did it happen to anyone? and if it happened, will Cisco
approve the exam results?
