Hi William,
>From what I understand:
1. You have to do summarization on R2 (ASBR) with 'summary address'.
2. You can summarize on R3 interface towards R4.
3. Well, if you run OSPF and EIGRP(versions that support variable mask),
yah, there is no FLSM/VLSM issues. In your example, the goal is to
summarize to routes that your igrp can understand (which in this case will
be /24 or other major net if you have some other routes). If you don't,
then your IGRP will not receive other non-/24 routes (such as your ospf /29
and eigrp /28)
Any inputs from others?
Regards.

Subject: Route summarisation in the actual lab
Hi guys
I have some doubts for the best practice in the ccie lab like the below
scenario:
r1---------------r2--------------------r3--------------r4-------------------
-- area 0 /29 eigrp /24 eigrp /28 igrp /24Questions: 1. Should I summarised the area 0 network on r1 or r2 (asbr) or both? 2. Same question for the eigrp, should I summarised on r3 or r4 or both routers?
3. If all my routers are running ospf and eigrp or I should say no vlsm --> flsm problem, should I make all the network length to /24? What will happen if I don't?
Please advise me. Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
William
